Transcribed by Joy MooreWAUKESHA, WI - Otto Brummond, 80, formerly of Elma, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001 at his home after a short illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at St. Paul's Maple Leaf Lutheran Church, rural Elma with Reverend Roger Buhr presiding. June Torrison will be organist and accompany those in attendance as they sing: "How Great Thou Art", "Amazing Grace" and "Rock of Ages'. Susan Friedrich will sing "On Eagles Wings".
Interment will be in Howard Cemetery, Elma with Bob and Chuck Brummond, Carl and Norman Friedrich, David and Kyle Brummond, Michael Petersen and Ron Brummond serving as casket bearers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at Conway Funeral Home, Elma and also an hour before service time at the church.
Otto Fred Brummond was born July 2, 1920, the son of Albert and Rosa (Bartels) Brummond. He was a 1938 graduate of Elma High School and was married April 20, 1945 to Dolores M. Tetzner at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Elma.
He was employed as a machinist at Waukesha Engineering, retiring after 28 years of employment.
Survivors include his wife, Dee; two sons, Robert, Waukesha, WI and Charles (Lynn), West Allis, WI; four grandchildren; two sisters, Lois (Reuben) Friedrich, Elma and Rosanna Petersen, Washington state.
Preceding him in death were his parents; an infant son and two brothers, Erwin and Norbert Brummond.
