Mrs. Bell McCan died at her home in Ashland, Wis., May 25, 1897, aged 27 years, of quick consumption. Deceased will be remembered by some readers as Miss Bell Mowry, a former resident of this vicinity, daughter of Harrison Mowry and sister of Mrs. Jesse Hayes and Frank Mowry, of New Oregon. She leaves a husband and two small children, besides other relatives in Ashland, to mourn her loss.
