Grace Lewis, 77, of Cresco, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI.

Grace Evelyn (Lucas) Lewis was born in Vernon Springs, IA on January 1, 1934 to John and Eva (Linderman) Lucas. She was the youngest of 13 children. Grace married Clarence "Bill" Lewis on June 28, 1958. She loved her family more than life itself, and sacrificed to provide for them. Grace's grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she spent many hours caring for them. She loved reading, puzzles, cross-stitch, baking, and crocheting. She will be in our memories forever.

She is survived by four children, Dolly Meiners of Spring Grove, MN, Brenda (David) Rask of Caledonia, MN, Shawn (Wendy) Lewis of Saratoga, IA, and Susie (Alan) Lewis of Cresco, Iowa, 13 grandchildren, Nick Rask, Brianne Meiners, Joe Rask, Chris Lewis, Alan Lewis, Brandon Rask, Alex Meiners, Shyanne Lewis, Adam Hasleiet, Carissa Rask, Nicole Hasleiet, Erin Hasleiet, and Cameron Rowe Hasleiet, along with numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill Lewis, a daughter, Mary Anne, and several brothers and sisters.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in New Oregon Cemetery in rural Cresco.

Visitation:
Friends may call two hours prior to services at the funeral home.

Service:
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco.
