Patricia Engelhardt, 68, of rural Ridgeway, IA, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Patricia Engelhardt was born August 1, 1941 in Winneshiek County, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Edith Huhe.
On August 12, 1958 she was united in marriage to Richard Engelhardt at United Methodist Church in Cresco. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2008. They farmed all their married life in Winneshiek County. She was Richard's constant companion and helpmate all those years. You would find she and Richard working together milking cows. She also enjoyed spending time with their 27 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She is survived by 10 children; Daniel ( Rachel) Engelhardt, Shorewood, MN; Norman (Stephanine) Engelhardt, Calhan, CO; Diane (Steve) Schick, Ridgeway, IA; Ronald (Carolyn) Engelhardt, Ankeny, IA; Gene (Tonja) Engelhardt, Janesville, WI; Donald ( Jenny) Engelhardt, Ridgeway, IA; Sharon (Chad) Bordwell, Cresco, IA; Robert (Stacy) Engelhardt, Decorah, IA; Scott (Heather) Engelhardt, Ridgeway, IA; Susan (Rudi) Hanni, Cresco, IA and 27 grandkids; Julia, James, Joseph, Nichole, Christopher, Amanda, Samantha, Jessica, Christine, Tiffany, Tyler, Evan, Dalton, Carson, Kaylee, Austin, Kandace, Erika, Heather, Paige, Lexie, Marissa, Elizabeth, Katherine, Josephine, Payton and Paul. One great grandchild: Cloveyanne. 2 sisters: Dolores (Elvin) Vobr, Mary (William) Rassman and 1 brother Galen (Linda) Huhe. 2 sisters inlaws Donna Anderson, Sun Prairie, WI; and Carol Timmerman, Chimayo, NM.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; 4 children: Allen, Dean, Linda and Steve and parents Fred and Edith Huhe. and 1 infant brother, Donnie.

Visitation:
A public visitation will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco, IA from 4-6 p.m.
