Virgil Vincent, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Barnes, passed away last Sunday morning at 10:40 o'clock, after an illness of but three days duration. The little one was born April 5, 1914, and though its stay upon earth was short, it has left a void which never can be filled, in a large circle of relatives and friends.
The funeral services occurred Tuesday morning, October 13th, at 10 o'clock at the Church of the Assumption, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

“I watched him and saw his life go out
As I held him close to my breast,
And I knew that his suffering little form
Was forever more at rest.
As I gazed on his face through blinding tears
And kissed his marble hand
I knew that the Angels had carried him home
Away to the Better Land.”
“We have laid the little form away
Forever from mortal sight.
But I know his spirit is pure and free
And will live in eternal light.
Forever safe in the Saviour’s love
Away from want and care,
I loved him too well to wish him hack,
For I know he is happier there.”

CARD OF THANKS.
We desire to express our sincere thanks to all for their kindly expressions of sympathy and the assistance rendered to us in our recent bereavement.
