Death of Little Child.
Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Downs mourn the loss of their son, Thomas A. Downs, who was born March 9, 1909, and died March 4, 1914. after two day’s illness. Despite all that medical aid and tender hands could do, he passed away peacefully to his heavenly home.
The funeral was from the home eight miles southwest of Cresco, March 6th, to Lourdes, where requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. J. J. Norris, and the remains laid at rest in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery.
Besides his grief stricken parents he leaves a little sister, Mary Elizabeth, one year old, and grandparents.
