Wm. Frost passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Myron Converse. He has been in failing health for some time, but was taken seriously ill about a month ago. The funeral will be held at the home on Saturday morning at 9 o’clock and the remains taken to Lime Springs for interment in the family lot in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

William Henry Frost was born in Plymouth, Devonshire, England, August 4, 1838. He was united in marriage to Sarah Jane Vale in 1861. He served in the English Navy for five years, after which he came to the United States, sending for his family consisting of his wife and three children, one year after his arrival in this country.
Since coming to the United States,
he has spent his life in Howard and
Mitchell Counties, Iowa.
His wife departed this life thirty years ago and four children, Laura Belle, Alice, Anna and Samuel have preceded him in death.
He is survived by the following children, Mrs. Sarah Owen and Mrs. Susie Converse, of Cresco, Richard Frost, of Lime Springs, William Frost, of Chester, Fred Frost, of Charles City, and Miss Minnie Frost, of Osage.
He passed away at one o'clock, Thursday afternoon. March 12, 1914, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Susie Converse, after one month of sickness.
The funeral was conducted by Dr. D. T. Robertson, pastor of the Congregational church, from the Myron Converse home on Saturday morning, March 14th, and interment was made in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Lime Springs.
