Funeral services for Giles J. Riniker of Cresco were held at 10:00 am. Saturday, January 8, at the St. Joseph’s Worship Center with interment in Calvary Cemetery. The Rev. Michael L. Tauke officiated and Conway Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Giles, 70, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000 at his home in Cresco.
Giles Joseph Riniker was born November 19, 1929 in Winneshiek County near Cresco the son of John C. and Frances (Shemmel) Riniker. He attended rural school.
Giles was the area salesman for Watkins Products for over 45 years.
He enjoyed reading and was a lifetime member of the St. Joseph Church.
He is survived by one brother, Paul Riniker of Cresco; and one sister, Catherine Reicks of Cresco.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Cletus and Lawrence.
