Sharron Meyer, 75, of Cresco, IA passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Evans Memorial Home in Cresco, Iowa.

Sharron was born on April 3, 1941 in Ridgeway, Iowa to Norman and Irene (Anderson) Hove. She attended and graduated Ridgeway High School in 1958. Following high school, Sharron moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, working for Northwest Orient Airlines for a few years before marrying Vern Meyer on February 10, 1962. She returned to Cresco, following their marriage. She was a dedicated farm wife and mother. She worked at the Howard County Treasurer's office for many years. She was very active at Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Cresco Library Board, the Hospital Auxiliary, and the Howard County Fair Board. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Coffee Club. Sharron enjoyed golfing, watching local football, basketball, and the marching band.

She is survived by her husband Vern of Cresco, a daughter Sue (Patrick) Johnson of Cresco, and two grandchildren, Cody and Amanda, one sister Connie (Allyn) Linderbaum, one brother John (Carol) Hove, one brother-in-law David (Jeanne) Lundak , several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, one great, great, nephew and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda Lundak.
