Services were held Monday in the United Methodist Church in Lime Springs for Fannie Tibbals, 92, Lime Springs resident, who died Thursday, April 20, 2000 in Evans Memorial Home at Cresco.
Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lime Springs.
She was born Sept. 25, 1907 in Howard County, daughter of Albert and Emma Stockdale. She married Ernest Tibbals Oct. 17, 1925 and they farmed until retiring and moving into Lime Springs.
Survivors include five daughters, Darline (Wilbert) Boehmer, New Concord, Ky.; Maxine Peter, St. Charles, Minn.; Georgia (Arlin) Hebrink, Harmony, Minn.; Iva (Gary) Zirbel, Rochester, Minn, and Marie (Jerry) Krueger, Chester, Iowa; two sons, Alton and Rex Tibbals, both of Lime Springs; 22 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Lindstrom Funeral Home, Lime Springs, was in charge of arrangements.
