Services held for Louise Kaderabek

Funeral services for Louise “Nana” Kaderabek of Cresco were held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2 at the Assumption Worship Center in Cresco. Rev. Henry W. Charipar officiated. Inurnment was in Calvary Cemetery. Pall bearers were grandsons: Tim Fitzgerald, Todd, Troy and Matt McCabe, Dave and Robert McCarville, Jr. Conway Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Louise, 81, died Monday, October 30, 2000 at the Cresco Care Center of natural causes.

Louise Arlene Kaderabek was born July 30, 1919 at North Washington, the daughter of Edward and Minnie (Wisher) Gilbert. She was baptized and confirmed at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Washington. She graduated from North Washington High School.

On November 14, 1938 she married Edward Kaderabek in North Washington. She worked as a clerk for 12 years for J.C. Penney Company.

Louise was a member of the Assumption Altar and Rosary Society and was a volunteer Pink Lady at the Regional Health Services Hospital and as a greeter for funerals at the Assumption Church.

Survivors include one son: Dale of Elkton, MN; three daughters: Bev Fitzgerald, Linda McCarville both of Cresco, and Karen McCabe of Adams, MN; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; mid one brother: Billy of Waterloo.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband Edward on March 26, 1984; one grandson; two brothers: Charlie and Kenny; and two sisters: Edna Nagle and Bobbie Meiers.
