Funeral services for Norma Cutsforth of Waterloo were held Tuesday, January 25 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Waterloo.

Norma, 62, died Friday, January 21, 2000 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo of complications from surgery.

Norma Jean Cutsforth was born October 12, 1937 in Cresco, the daughter of Leonard and Viola (Barthelme) Ferrie.

On February 6, 1956 she married Virgil Cutsforth in Cresco.

Norma was a cook for Blessed Sacrament Church and schools in Waterloo for many years.

Survivors include her husband Virgil; three sons: Thomas, Timothy, and John all of Waterloo; four daughters: Paula Hippe and Jenny Cutsforth both of Waterloo, Pam Iverson of Readlyn and Kathy Spence of Elk Run Heights; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three brothers: Jack, Bill and Don all of Cresco; and six sisters: Helen Graves of Riceville, Marian Bergren of Spring Valley, MN, Marg Sobolik of Cresco, Mary Jo Chappell and Ann Emerson both of Marion, and Kathy Balluff of Denver, CO.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents.
