Richard A. Miller, age 49, of Lime Springs, IA passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his home.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Lime Springs United Methodist Church in Lime Springs, IA with Pastor Candie Carey officiating. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.

Richard Allen Miller was born July 1, 1966 to James and Judy (Souhrada) Miller at the Howard County Hospital in Cresco, IA. In 1984, Rich graduated from Crestwood High School. On July 17, 1993, Rich was united in marriage to Connie Kirkpatrick in Lime Springs, IA. He worked at Featherlite as a welder until 2005 when he became disabled. Rich enjoyed the great outdoors fishing, camping, and watching eagles. When he wasn’t outside, he liked playing pool, watching the Chicago Bears, and loved playing games and spending time with his family and friends.

Rich is survived by his wife, Connie; children, Ashley Kirkpatrick, JJ Miller, and Chelsea Miller; parents, James and Judy Miller; siblings, Judy Engelhart and Jim Miller all of Lime Springs, IA; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Louise Souhrada, paternal grandparents, Lyle and Florance Miller, 2 uncles, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and uncle-in-law.
