Minnie Best, Former Resident, Buried Here

A former Lime Springs resident was laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lime Springs, on November 26, 1973, following services at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lime Springs, with Rev. Harold S. Reitz officiating.
She was Mrs. Wilhelmins Priebe Best, who passed away at Austin, Minn. on November 24, 1973 at the age of 85 years and 8 days. Wilhelmina Priebe was born in Howard County, Iowa on Nov. 16, 1888. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. She was united in marriage to Percy Best and they lived in Lime Springs, Iowa in the house now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. George Lovell. Mr. Best operated a dray service in Lime Springs. They moved to Austin, Minn. where they lived for a number of years. They then moved to Pine River, Minn. where Mr. Best passed away.
For some time Mrs. Best has resided in a nursing home in Austin, Minnesota.
Survivors include one niece, one nephew, two grand-nieces and one grand-nephew and one cousin. She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son.
