Norma G. Robinson, age 91, of Cresco, IA, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, IA.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home, 404 North Elm Street, Cresco, IA 52136. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Beaver Township, Fillmore County, MN. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Norma Gene Duesler was born March 16, 1924 in Ligonier, Indiana daughter of Alfred and Mary (Carper) Duesler. After her schooling, she entered the United States Navy and served during WWII. On March 12, 1983 she was united in marriage to David Robinson Jr. in Elkhart, Indiana. David died in June of 1997. While living in Chester, IA Norma worked at the Chester Motor Mart. She enjoyed needle point and crocheting.

Norma is survived by her son, William “Bill” Evans of Mesa, AZ; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Kristin, and Rachel; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Betty Jacobs of Kentucky and Katherine Jillete of Brooklyn, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary, husband, David, son, Robert, daughter, Rita, and sister, Patricia.
