Funeral Services Friday Afternoon For Mrs. D.W. Davis, Age 91
Died Tuesday at Home of Daughter

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 18, for Mrs. D.W. Davis, at 1:30 o'clock at the H.C. Lidtke residence, and at 2:00 o'clock at the Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Maggie Jane Davis passed away Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lidtke, with whose family she had had made her home, after an illness of about five years.
She was the fourth of sixteen children born to Mr. and Mrs. William P. Jones of Cambria, Minn. She reached the age of 91 1/2 years.
Surviving are one sister and one brother,Mrs. Ann Evans and Sam Jones both of Cambria, Minn., and one daughter Mrs. H.C. Lidtke of Lime Springs. One daughter died in infancy. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis was the wife of David W. Davis who farmed 3 miles north of Lime Springs, and for about 25 years was a large buyer of livestock here. Her husband was the developer of the dam and power plant at Old Town to serve Lime Springs and Chester with electricity.
