Walker
Early Saturday morning April 17, 1915, after a painful illness death came as a relief to Mrs. George Walker at her home near Bonair. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church Monday afternoon with burial at Pleasant Hill cemetery, Lime Springs.
Mary V. Tripp was born Aug. 8, 1864, and was united in marriage at Aurora, Ill., Nov. 17, 1885, to George Walker.
For 13 years they resided on a farm near Big Lake, Ill., and in the spring of 1898 they moved on a farm near Manson, Iowa, living there until the year 1903, when they moved to their present home.
In 1913, under the pastorate of Rev. Meyer the deceased united with the M.E. church and remained a faithful member until her death. She was also a member and active worker in the Royal Neighbor lodge where she was held in high esteem. Friends and neighbors add their testimony to the noble qualities of this good woman.
