She married Paul Dvorak on April 29, 1995, and they have one son, Josh. Diana was an avid Hawkeye fan and proudly wore black and gold on game days. Her life was lived with grace and dignity in spite of her debilitating cancer and life-changing surgery in 2001. Her brave stance to survive, to be with her family and to see her son grow up was inspiring to all. As a proud mother, her passion was Josh and all his sporting and band activities. Her husband’s devotion through the many challenges in her health was a gift. Diana continued to feel blessed in spite of her cancer struggles. She was so grateful for the love and support from her entire family and friends, her medical team and the prayers and support of so many others.
