FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. A. KOSHATKA

Passed Away May 27 Following Stroke Suffered A Week Previous

Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church Saturday morning for Mrs. Anna Koshatka, who passed away at her home south of Lourdes on May 27, at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and 10 days. Mrs. Koshatka had been in failing health for some time and a week previous to her death she suffered a stroke which was the cause of her death. The requiem mass was read by the pastor, Father F. J. Renier and burial was in the cemetery at Lourdes with Conway's in charge of the arrangements.

The pallbearers were Paul Hidding, Donald Hidding, Wallace Hidding, Wesley Haskovec, Cletus Eiffler and Clarence Eiffler.

Mrs. Koshatka was born in Germany, Nov. 1864, and when seven years of age came to the United States with her parents and has been a pioneer settler of the community she lived in for 50 years. She was united in marriage to Thomas Koshatka, who preceded her in death several years ago. She leaves to mourn the following children; Harry, at home; Frank, near Lourdes; Jim, at Waterloo; Mrs. Albert Hidding; Mrs. Chas. Eiffler; Mrs. Chas Haskovec; and Regina at Storm City. One son Ed., preceded her in death.

She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and will be missed by the large host of friends and members of her family.
