Died.

LUCAS—At her home 2-1/2 miles south of Howard Center, Saturday, July 13, Minnie E., wife of Samuel C. Lucas, aged 27 years, 8 months and 26 days.

The deceased has been ailing for some time but nothing in her condition was regarded as serious until about 10 days ago, when she was pronounced a serious sufferer from a complication of diseases which resulted in death on Saturday last at 2 p. m.

The funeral was largely attended, the burial services being held in a grove near the residence on Sunday, the day following, being conducted by Rev. Macurdy.

She leaves a husband and four children one girl and three boys, to mourn her loss, also two brothers, one of whom Otto Tery, of Nebraska, arrived Monday, too late to see his sister.

The family desire us to express their thanks to the many kind friends who so kindly assisted them in the sickness and death of their wife, mother and sister.

The family have the sincere sympathy of all in their sad hour of bereavement.
