Obituary.

Sarah Roselle Ryan, wife of Fred Ryan, died at their home in Orleans township, Winneshiek county, Iowa, Friday morning, April 26, 1895, aged 25 years 7 months and 2 days.

She was the daughter of Alex and Charlotte McIntosh, and was married over four years since to Mr. Fred Ryan. She leaves one child and her husband, and numerous friends to mourn her untimly{SP} death.

On Sunday the 21, of April she attended the funeral of Mr. Geo. R.Humphrey, and was in her usual good health. Her illness was an acute attack of Peritonitis, resulting in death after three days.

Her funeral was from the Methodist church, the services having been conducted by Rev. Macurdy. The attendance was perhaps one of the largest ever held in the place, over seventy carriages being in the procession which bore her remains to their final resting place in Oak Lawn, the public thus attesting it sympathy with the sorrowing relatives and friends.
