Eva M. Keune, age 83 of Cresco, Iowa died Monday morning, August 3, 2015 at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, Iowa. Private family services will be held with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, rural Cresco. The Lindstrom Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Eva was born August 30, 1931 in Basin, Wyoming to Frank J. and Ruth (Hoover) Spencer. Eva graduated from Basin High School in 1949. Following High School she married Richard M. Greenleaf, they later divorced. She later married Gordon M. Keune in June of 1963. Eva worked in the office of Keune Brothers Construction Co. Gordon passed away in February of 1985.

Eva enjoyed reading and sewing, was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and in their ladies groups and church boards, she also did volunteer work at the Evans Home.

Eva is survived by two sons: Ronald G. (Shelly) Keune of Burnsville, MN and Jerry J. Greenleaf of Trempealu, WI; three grandchildren: Lisa (Andy) Forseth, Jessy (Kevin) Glaser and Leah Keune; two great-grandchildren: Allison and Adam Forseth, and a brother, James Spencer of Boise, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gordon, one son, Gary Greenleaf, a daughter-in-law, Helen Greenleaf and a sister and a brother.
