FRANCIS CLANCY

CRESCO, Ia. – Services for Francis Clancy, 64, lifelong resident of Howard County, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cresco. The Rev. A. C. Woerdehoff, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery west of Cresco.

Clancy died in a Rochester, Minn. hospital; Sunday after a week’s illness. He was born near Cresco, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Clancy. He came to Cresco when he was 21 years old and has lived here since. He was an employee of the Iowa State Highway commission in Howard County. He married Miss Carrie Hauber at Cresco June 28, 1927.

He is survived by his wife; a brother, William Clancy, of Rochester, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Wm. Stevenson of Cresco
