OBITUARY.

Thomas Bateman Benson was born in Norfolk, St. Lawrence O. N. Y., June 20, 1846, coming west with his parents, they settled in what is now Harmony twp. Fillmore Co. Minn., in Sept. 1854, where he lived with them continuously until May of the present year, when he came to Cresco where he died at the residence of his sister Mrs. Amos Perry, Aug. 3, 1892. Leaving his aged parents, one sister and one brother, William, to mourn his loss He was a kind and loving son and brother and a good neighbor. He has gone to a just reward.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church, Cresco, from whence the remains were taken to State Line Cemetery for burial.
