Miss Luetta Elton was born at Hartford, Connecticut, May 8th, 1815; She passed from this life Dec. 27, 1891, aged 76 years 6 months and 19 days. She was married to Watrous Fairchild in the year 1838 who precedes her to the better home by nearly nine years. Mrs. Fairchild was converted at the age of 14 years. She first united with the Baptist church, afterwards united with the M. E. church, wherein she has ever since been an active member; her life has been that of a devoted Christian. She leaves two brothers and one sister, two sons and one daughter and six grand children to mourn her loss.
