Called Home.

Another of the early settlers of Howard county, Mrs. Eliza Searles, widow of P. T. Searles, was called home Thursday, December 31st, aged about 61 years.

Somewhere about a year ago Mrs. Searles had a slight paralytic shock from which she had not fully recovered. A few days before her death a second shock came which terminated in death.

Mrs. Searles was a good wife and a noble mother. She leaves three sons and two daughters to water her grave with unavailing tears.
