On November 20, 1939 she married Arthur Aegler and together they operated a farm north of Cresco, Iowa for nearly 60 years. She and her late husband Arthur lived at Evans Assisted Living Center in Cresco, Iowa until he passed away two years ago in November 23, 2012. She was a long-time member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. They were blessed with four children; Susan Jertson of Winona, Minnesota, Marian Aegler of Decorah, Iowa, Carl Aegler of Woodbury, Minnesota, and Martha Aegler of Decorah, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Ernest and Olivia Young, her brother Richard Young, and her sister Kay Gmur. She was very proud of her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 302 2nd Ave West, Cresco, Iowa.
