The Jamestown Journal of the 21st records the death of Mrs. Seabury, in Busti, N. Y., at the advanced age of eighty-six years, as having occurred on the 15th inst. Mrs. Seabury was one of the truest and best of women, a warm friend to our family from almost the days of our earliest memory: a noble, devoted wife and mother, a generous friend to the poor. One year ago she was a frequent caller upon the mother of the publishers of this paper, during her sickness, and although nearly 85 years of age then, was as sprightly and active as most persons of twenty-five. A large family of children and grand-children, and all who knew her are mourners at the death.
