Mrs. Flora Beucher

Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Beucher who died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Frank Richardson at Little Fork, Minn., were held at the Easler funeral home at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, October 20. The Rev. T.M. Nielsen, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. Burial was in Oaklawn cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Richardson accompanied the body here. Besides them, relatives from a distance attending the funeral were Mrs. Beucher's cousins Fern and Will Teetshorn on Whitewater, Wis.

Flora Bell Beucher was the daughter of Chauncey and Olivia Teetshorn. She was born in Rock county, Wis., Sept. 14, 1859, and passed away Oct. 16, 1937, at the age of 78 years, one month and two days.

Mrs. Beucher lived with her parents in Rock county until six years old when she moved with them to Winneshiek county, Iowa. They located on what is known as the Pilot Grove farm near Ridgeway.

On Sept. 7, 1885, she was united in marriage with Julius Beucher. One daughter was born to them, Myrtle Leota, who is now Mrs. Frank Richardson of Little Fork, Minn. Mrs. Beucher lived on the old homestead for sixty years until the year 1932 when she moved to Harmony, Minn. When the Richardson family moved to Little Fork she went there with them and resided until the time of her death.

She is survived by Mrs. Richardson, one grandson, Elwin Lowell Richardson of Little Fork; one brother, Charles E. Teetshorn of near Ridgeway; two cousins, Fern and Will Teetshorn of Whitewater, Wis.; and many other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Mr. Beucher and two brothers preceded her in death several years ago.

Many beautiful floral offerings bore testimony of her standing in the communities where she has lived. She was a quiet and unassuming woman, loved and highly esteemed by all who knew her.
