OBITUARY. Wentworth
Lucinda Blake was born in Kingsey, Canada, March 26, 1826. She was united in marriage to Nelson John Wentworth, Oct 26, 1849, and they resided in Kingsey until 1867. To them 9 children were born, 5 boys and 4 girls, who survive her and mourn her loss. One son, Charley, resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. Willie in Denver, Colo., Armina Clay in Vermont, and the other six who were present at the funeral were as follows: Mrs. Bertha Lobdell, of Rockford, Ill., A.N. Wentworth, of this city, Mrs. Marshall Gager of Minneapolis, Nelson Wentworth of Minneapolis, Curtis Wentworth, of Granger, Minn., and Mrs. W.W. Martin of this city, besides a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a good, loving mother, and a member of the English Episcopal church since she was 18 years of age. She has been a resident of this place for 34 years.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon in Grace Episcopal church, Rev. McVettie, of Decorah, officiating. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
