OBITUARY

Nellie Olava Monsen was born in Ferchenstead, Norway, July 15, 1868. She resided with her parents until 1888 when she came to Cresco, and in 1892 she was united in marriage with James W. Wentworth. To this union were born two children, Clarence and Percy. She was a very faithful and loving wife and mother, until her death Friday, June 19th, 1908.

Mrs. Wentworth was a woman who made many friends and was greatly esteemed by all who knew her.

She was baptized in the Lutheran Church, which church she attended until she came to this country, and since then attended the Methodist Church.

She was a member of "The Modern Brotherhood of America."

Mrs. Wentworth leaves to mourn her loss a husband, two sons, Clarence and Percy, two brothers, Lou Luren of Decorah, Iowa, and Magnus of Minneapolis, her parents, a sister and a brother in Norway.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church, Rev. Hinman officiating, Sunday, June 21st. Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
