LONG-TIME CRESCO RESIDENT DIED IN HOME LAST EVENING
Mrs. Lillie J. Breedlove Funeral Services in Larson Funeral Home Tomorrow (Thursday)
Mrs. Lillie F. Breedlove, age 78, long-time resident of the Cresco community, died last night at 6:15 at the Kuntz Nursing home in Cresco, where she had lived for the last four years.
Funeral services are to be held tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 in the Larson Funeral home. The Rev. George W. Turner, pastor of the Methodist church, of which Mrs. Breedlove was a member, will conduct the services, and burial will be in Oak Lawn cemetery.
Lillie J. Livingston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Livingston, was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, September 19, 1871. The family moved to the Cresco community the following year. The Cresco woman received her education in the Howard county schools.
In 1890, she was married to Frank A. Peckham and they became the parents of two children, Ralph W. Peckham of Cresco, and the late Mrs. Ruth Morris of Cresco. Her husband died in 1909.
In 1914, she was married to George Breedlove, who preceded her in death February 3, 1947.
Surviving Mrs. Breedlove, there are her son, Ralph W. Peckham; one step-son, John Breedlove of Cresco; two step-daughters, Mrs. Glen Kenworthy of Berwyn, Illinois, and Mrs. R.M. Broaddus of Maywood, Illinois; her step-mother, Mrs. Kate Livingston of Cresco; a brother, Arthur Livingston of Cresco, and a sister, Mrs. Inez Barker of Janesville, Wisconsin.
She is also survived by three grandchildre, Mrs. Arthur Henke of Elkader, Mrs. Jean Nichols of Cresco, and Arthur L. Peckham of Cresco, and seven Great grandchildren.
