Eileen Bartell,81,services held Friday

Funeral services for Eileen Bartell, 81, who died November 29, 1988 at the Howard County Hospital, were held Friday, December 2, at the United Methodist Church. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery with Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Eileen was born September 26, 1907 in Cresco, the daughter of A.H. and Ida (Dawes) Brown. She married Kenneth Bartell on May 3, 1931 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Eileen contracted polio in 1943 and has been cared for at home since then.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Cresco; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Martha) Hardy of Spokane, WA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Her parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
