Ronald Buhr,39,Funeral Conducted
Funeral services for Ronald Buhr, 39, were held May 6 at the First Lutheran church with the Rev. Gary Lee officiating. Burial was in the Oaklawn cemetery with the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home making the arrangements.
Mr. Buhr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Buhr, was born June 26, 1934 in Mason City. He graduated from East High in Waterloo and Norfolk college in Norfolk,Va. He married Madlyne Flanders on Dec. 26, 1953, while he was in the navy. While in the navy he served as quartermaster on the USS Mississippi.
Mr. Buhr was territory manager for Rath Feed Division until he became disabled in February, 1969. The Buhrs moved to Cresco in 1968 after living in Readlyn for several years. Mr. Buhr died May 2 at the St. Joseph hospital in Cresco.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Buhr is survived by his wife; three children, Ronald, Jane and Robert, all living at home; and one sister, Mrs. Richard (Jean) Andrew.
