BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL
Funeral services for Mrs. A.M. Brubaker of Minneapolis whose maiden name was Jessie Craghill, will be held in Cresco at 10:30 Thursday morning, August 9, at the home of her niece Mrs. Ruth White at 316 Second Avenue East.The Rev. W.H. Mitchell, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery.
Mrs. Brubaker died in the Colonial hospital at Rochester at eight o'clock Monday evening, August 6.She had been an invalid for several years.
Deceased was one of six children born to Edward and Julia Craghill who lived on a farm in New Oregon township, Howard county, many years ago and who have long since passed away. Two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death, Mattie who was Mrs. Frank Wheeler of Cresco, Mae who was Mrs. George Libbey of Minneapolis and Frank and James, the latter of whom died June 8, 1934, in Minneapolis and whose body was brought here for burial.
Mrs. Brubaker was born Dec. 11, 1873. She was 60 years, 7 months and 25 days of age.
She was married at Cresco Oct. 26, 1899, to A.M. Brubaker of Minneapolis. She had lived in that city several years preceding her marriage and it has since been the home of her and her husband.
Besides Mr. Brubaker she is survived by one brother, Fred, of Fargo, N.D., who will be here to attend the funeral. Mr. Brubaker accompanied the body to Cresco.
Other relatives and friends from a distance who are expected to attend the funeral are George F. Libbey, brother-in-law of deceased, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Howatt and Mr. and Mrs. Rexford Kenyon, all of Minneapolis.
