Mrs. Leo Boyer,58, funeral Wednesday

Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Leo (Geraldine) Boyer at the First Baptist church in Cresco with the Rev. Lary Long, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Charles Kirtley officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery with Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Boyer died June 9 at the Lutheran hospital in LaCrosse, Wis., at the age of 58.

Geraldine (Platz) Boyer was born Sept. 6, 1921 in Elkhart, Ind. to Clifford and Esther Platz. She married Leo Boyer in Cresco on June 30, 1943.

Survivors are her husband, Leo, a daughter, Mrs. William (Linda) Sullivan of Cresco; two grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Esther Platz of Cresco and a brother Waldon Platz of Lime Springs.
