Virginia Blomgren services tomorrow

Services for Virginia (Dolly) Blomgren, 59, will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lime Springs with the Rev. Gale Chilson officiating. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Lime Springs. Interment will be in Oak Lawn cemetery, Cresco.

She died May 25 at the Howard County Hospital following a lengthy illness with cancer.

Virginia Blomgren was born July 12, 1927 to J. Bert and Mary (Jestrab) Wilhelm. She married Marvin Blomgren on July 19, 1945 in Cresco. They were the parents of four children.

Survivors are one son, Russell of Alexander, Va; three daughters, Mrs. Duane (Irene) Eiffler and Mrs. Bruce (Carla) Fortney , both of Lime Springs and Mrs. Arlynn (Wanda) Hovey of Preston, MN; five grandchildren; her mother, Mary Wilhelm of Decorah and two brothers, Melvin Wilhelm of Lake City, Iowa and Joseph Wilhelm of Virginia Beach, VA.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband who died in 1981.
