Funeral for Mrs. Cecyle Bradley in Cresco on Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Cecyle Bradley, 62, of Chicago, sister of Norman A. Bradley of Cresco, were held from the local Bradley Funeral home Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Bradley died in the Chicago Michael Reese hospital Friday on her sixty-second birthday anniversary.
Conducting the services was the Rev. Robert Cleveland, pastor of the Cresco Congregational church. Burial was in Oak Lawn cemetery.
Mrs. Bradley, the former Cecyle Bradley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Bradley, was born in Taylor county December 10, 1903. She came to Cresco with her parents in 1914 and was graduated from the Cresco high school.
She attended the University of Iowa in 1922 and 1923 and then entered nurses' training at Michael Reese hospital, from which she was graduated a registered nurse in 1926.
She was married to Lloyd Bradley who died in the Veterans hospital in Nashville, Tennessee two years ago. Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Bradley returned to her nursing profession at the Michael Reese hospital.
Surviving Mrs. Bradley, in addition to her brother, Norman A. Bradley, is a sister, Mrs. Luella Falardeau of Saint Paul.
Preceding Mrs. Bradley in death were her parents and a brother, Lester, who died in 1929.
