Mrs. Leonard Bigalk funeral held Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Leonard Bigalk were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at St. Matthews Lutheran church in Granger, Minn., with the Rev. Robert Hansen, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was in Oak Lawn cemetery near Cresco. Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

She died Friday at the Howard County hospital at the age of 68.

Alice (Erickson) Bigalk was born in June, 1910 in Canton township, the daughter of Anton and Julia Erickson.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard; one son, Norman of Denver, Colo.; one grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Haugen of Fertile, Minn., Mrs. Clarence (Ada) Bigalk of Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. Edna Bjertness of Harmony, Minn., three brothers, William Erickson of Harmony, Alfred Erickson of Cresco and Jim Erickson of Canton, Minn.
