Henry D. Bronner funeral conducted

Funeral services for Henry D. Bronner were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 24 in Immanuel Lutheran church. Interment was in Oak Lawn cemetery with military honors conducted by Cresco American Legion post No. 135. Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He died Feb. 21 in the Howard County hospital at the age of 85.

Henry Daniel Bronner, son of Dan and Hulda Bronner, was born Sept. 11, 1895 in Albion township, Howard county. He attended the rural schools and spent nearly his entire life in the area as a farmer. Henry was in World War I, serving one year overseas.

On Feb. 22, 1932, he married Helen Kathryn Grube. They became the parents of four children. Henry was a life long member of the Lutheran church and also a member of the American Legion.

Survivors are his wife and three sons, H. Reade and Richard L. of Cresco and John D. of Anchorage, Alaska; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Emma Kiehne of Harmony.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Donna Lee who died at birth, a sister, Theresa and a brother, George.
