Funeral Services For Mrs. Raymond Bauer on Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond Bauer, 45, who died last Tuesday night after a short illness, were held at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Cresco Friday.

The Rev. E.C. Franke conducted the services, with burial at Oak Lawn cemetery. The Bradley Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bauer, the former Marjorie Blaser, was born in Cresco January 19, 1919, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Blaser. She was baptized in the Immanuel Lutheran church during infancy and later was also confirmed.

She was united in marriage with Raymond Bauer June 16, 1938, in Cresco. The Rev. L.W. Moench performed the wedding ceremony.

Mrs. Bauer was the mother of two children, Wayne and Marlene.

Mrs. Bauer was a member of The Immanuel Lutheran church throughout her life and at the time of her death was secretary-treasurer of the Rachel circle.

The Bauers farmed in the Cresco community all of their married life.

Mrs. Bauer was preceded in death by her father, Chris Blaser.

Surviving Mrs. Bauer are her husband, Raymond; her son, Wayne, of Minneapolis; her daughter, Mrs. Richard Dore, of Minneapolis, and her mother, Mrs. Florence Blaser, of Cresco, besides her brothers, Marvin and Arnold, of Cresco, and her sisters, Mrs. Norbert Bauer, Mrs. John Vobr, Mrs. Lawrence Peters and Mrs. Raymond Vobr, all of Cresco.

There is also a granddaughter, April Bauer, of Minneapolis.
