Raymond Bauer, 72, services held today

Services for Raymond Bauer,72, who died Sunday, Aug. 21, in the LaCrosse Lutheran hospital, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (today) in Immanuel Lutheran church in Cresco. The Rev. Morris Ulring and the Rev. Stephen Engelstad will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Lawn cemetery with Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Raymond was born July 15, 1911 in Howard county to Irvin and Lydia (Derr) Bauer.

He is survived by a son, Wayne of Cresco, a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marlene) Dore of Bloomington, Minn., five grandchildren; two brothers, Norbert and Lloyd, both of Cresco.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife who died 19 years ago.
