Mrs. W. Lloyd Barker Funeral Held Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Farrington Barker were held Friday morning at St. David's Episcopal church with the Rev. Robert Ihlefeld officiating. Burial was in the Oak Lawn cemetery. The Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home had charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Barker died Feb. 18.
Bertha Farrington Barker was born in 1879 in Wyocena, Wis., where she lived one year before coming with her parents to Lime Springs. She attended school in Lime Springs but took the last year of high school work at St. Mary's hall in Faribault, Minn., and was graduated in 1897. She then moved with her parents to Albert Lea, Minn., and attended Albert Lea college, a woman's college.
After living five years in Albert Lea and for a time in Winnebago, Minn., she was married in 1904 to W. Lloyd Barker, a Cresco attorney, and they resided in Cresco until Mr. Barker's death in 1959.
She is survived by a son, Lloyd F. Barker, and a daughter, Inez F. Barker, both of Minneapolis, Minn.
She was a 50-year member of P.E.O.

Mrs. Bertha Barker,89,Funeral Set Here Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Barker, 89, former resident here, will be conducted on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the St. David's Episcopal church with the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Oak Lawn cemetery.
Mrs. Barker died Tuesday in Minneapolis. She had moved from Cresco to Golden Valley, near Minneapolis seven years ago. Her surviving children, Lloyd and Inez, also reside at Golden Valley. Her husband, W.L. Barker, a long-time attorney here, died in 1959.
