Mrs. Luella Ames,, 79, funeral on Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Luella Ames, 79, will be today (Wednesday) at the First Congregational church with the Rev. Bruce Pilcher officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn cemetery with the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home in charge of arrangements. She died Sunday at her home.

She was born Sept. 29, 1896 in Winneshiek county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown.

Mrs. Ames is survived by two brothers, Brayton and Leon Brown, both of Cresco; a sister, Mrs. Eftille (Bina) Vaubel of Houston, Texas.
