Dale Leslie Auringer was born 1909 at Jamestown, Howard, Iowa to Lee E Auringer and Cora M Brunson.

Found in the 1910 census at Jenkins, Mitchell, IA: Lee E Oringer 22, Corah M Oringer 23, Dale L Oringer 1. (census taker mis-spelled surname)

Found in the 1915, 1920 censuses at Waterloo, Black Hawk, IA living w/ only his mother in a boarding house.
1915: Dale Auringer age 6.
1920: Cora M Oranger 32, Dale Oranger 11.

After his parents divorced, he moved with his mother to California.

Dale died from TB on December 27, 1938 at Whittier, Los Angeles, California. He was buried at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Whittier, Los Angeles, California.
