SIOUX FALLS- Graveside services for Hazel L. Daws of Sioux Falls were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010 at the Dell Rapids Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Hartgraves officiating.

Minnehaha Funeral Home in Baltic, S.D. handled the arrangements. Hazel, 89, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010.

Hazel L. Daws was born April 1, 1921 in Cresco the daughter of Edward and Mae (Schaefer) Dotzler. She was one of 17 children.

She is survived by her daughter: Gayle Mesch (Bud) of Garretson; son: Rob Daws of Brookings; grandchildren: Kim Klingenberg (Arlen); Tim Thompson (Kelly); Kristi Rempe; Gennifer Randolph (Daryl) and Travis Daws; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother; and two sisters in the Cresco, Iowa area.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Daws; sons: Ralph, Robert and William; and daughters: Rita "Sam" and Doris.
