Postville Herald, Friday, 6 September 1918.

A sad occurrence is reported in the family of William Nolan, living near Cresco, when their infant son, Robert Joseph Nolan, two months old, died without warning, while Mrs. Nolan was shopping in one of the Cresco stores. The little one was in his usual health, and they were wheeling him in a baby carriage from place to place, when a nurse who was in the store lifted the baby up and found that life was extinct. The doctor who was called thinks a small clot of blood in the heart caused the death.
