Mrs. Timmerman passed away Monday evening at the home of her son William, south-west of here. She was about 78 years old and has several children living in the immediate vicinity of our village. The funeral was held Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Alberts of Maple Leaf, interment at the Lutheran cemetery at Maple Leaf. We are without further particulars.

Transcriber’s Note: Per cemetery records Mrs. Timmerman’s first name was Marie and maiden name was Baethske. She was born May 15, 1832 and died December 20, 1909.
