Services held for Marion Scoles, 59

Funeral services for Marion Scoles, 59, were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment in Holy Cross cemetery at Schley. Rev. Michael L. Tauke presided. Pall bearers were Tim and Tom Bouska, Ray Bina, Vern Trachta, Dennis Rogne, and Randy Bruess.

Marion died Friday, February 20, 1998 at her home in Cresco.

Marion Ann Bouska was born in Howard County, IA, on September 21, 1938, the daughter of William F. and Esther A. (Duneman) Bouska. She attended the rural school and graduated from Cresco High School.

Marion lived in Waterloo, Iowa for a short period of time where she was a waitress. Upon moving back to Cresco, she was a waitress at the Park View Café. She then went to work at Kaiser Chemical Co. in Cresco as a bookkeeper. When Kaiser closed, she went to work at Bonair and then to Protivin for Art’s Milling Service.

She is survived by her mother, Esther Bouska of Cresco; one brother, William E. Bouska of Cresco; and one sister Kathleen Bouska of Cresco.

She was preceded in death by her father.
