Edmund Rethamel Funeral at Schley

Funeral services for Edmund H. Rethamel were held Saturday at the Holy Cross Church at Schley. Burial was in the Holy Cross cemetery with the Conway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Roger Rethamel officiated.

He died Nov. 13, at his home at the age of 65.

Edmund Rethamel was born Oct. 2, 1909, in Howard county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rethamel. He attended rural and Cresco schools, and married Ruth Opat in 1935. He was a farmer and a member of the Holy Cross church.

Mr. Rethamel was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife; two children, Eldred Rethamel and Shirley Rethamel both of Cresco; a sister, Mrs. Francis Smith of Elma; and a brother, Raymond Rethamel of New Hampton.
